Applications are invited for a 4 year research position in Informatics,
with possible extension, starting as soon as possible.

Örebro University has a strong profile in eGovernment within a context
of broad informatics research and systems development. The successful
applicant will be expected to conduct research and publish in close
relation to our profile and to assist in ongoing projects and with
expanding our project portfolio. Current international projects include
eGovernment, eParticipation, ICT for Development, and Systems
development, most of them conducted in a multi-disciplinary context.

PhD education includes involvement in four research schools:

- The European PhD School in eGovernment
(www.electronicgovernment.se/phd.asp
- DEMO-net's PhD school on "eParticipation", involving some 50 PhD
students across Europe
- eHealth - "Values and Care" (www.oru.se/vvo)
- Urban Studies - cities and regions under change

Based on the main profile the department also provides an internatonal
Master in Electronic Government (www.electronicgovernment.eu)

Applicants must hold a PhD not older than 5 years and have demonstrated
strong scholarly research in a university environment.
